Our program airs on Saturday afternoons LIVE from 1:00pm - 3:00pm EST
(12:00pm - 2:00pm CST). 

We also air a Slovenian style polka show called the SLOVENIAN POLKA HOP  Monday afternoons from 1:00pm - 2:00pm EST (12:00pm - 1:00pm CST)
and Friday mornings from 10:00am - 11:00am EST (9:00am - 10:00am CST).

About Jim Kucharski

Jim Kucharski, also known as "Chainsaw", is your host for this musicial odyssey. He's been in the polka business for 22 years. (Has it been that long???)

He has perfomed with a number of area bands through the years, including Joe Walega, Gennie O & The Windy City Brass, Stas Golonka, The Good Times, The Ampol-Aires, Take Five, and Freeze Dried.

Jim has also filled in with a number of bands through the years, including such groups as The Downtown Sound, Lil' Richard, Polka Country Musicians, Jersey Polka Richie, Lil' Wally, John Gora & Gorale, Stephanie, The Music Company, & Jimmy Kilian's Honky Chicago.

Jim has recorded on 26 albums to date, including a Christmas 45RPM recording and a DVD. He is the Program Director for the POLKA JAMMER NETWORK at www.polkajammernetwork.org.

He enjoys bicycling, traveling, pizza, and going out to hear live bands. While Jim no longer performs on a regular basis, he does freelance on occasion.
